BA(Hons) Design Crafts, School of Art & Design, Lowestoft College

A selection of 2nd and 3rd year students showing a variety of work which includes Ceramics, Textiles and 3 – Dimensional Design. BA(Hons) Design has had a very successful year with students winning prizes once again at the Bradford Textile Design Student Awards: 1st prize to Gemma Orton for Embroidered Textiles, 3rd prize to Amba Davison for Knitted Textiles and Highly Commendeds for Karla Beer, Corin Sutherland- Costen and Amba Davison again. Karla and Gemma were then selected as two out of 4 students across the board (over 600 entries) to go to Paris for the much coveted Premiere Vision Prize. Ceramicist Danielle Spelman has been selected nationally to take part in the Craftsmans Potters Association “Setting Out” exhibition in January.
